This afternoon (Thursday) we again toured with F Com France - this time on a full bus and only a 40 mins trip to Versailles. great weather.
We spent 3 hours enjoying the absolute opulance of this huge castle of 700 rooms. Built by King Louis the Fourteenth (1682 - 1789).

]Versailles was the seat of absolute monarchy. We were astounded by the huge paintings adorning walls and ceilings, surrounded by ornate guilded balustrades.
We spent time in the magnificent manicured gardens surrounding the palace.
