Arrival in Paris

Long flight of 24 hours with Malaysian Airlines - great food and friendly service!!
Found fellow Aussie who had been to KL and knew the way to get the train to find the departure point!!
Looong flight to Paris ..saw an amazing lit-up freeway (that's how it looked from 30000 ft) somewhere near the Afganistan / India / Pakistan borders.. lots of lights visible below us for the middle part of the flight.. great meals to help us survive!
We organised the paris shuttle bus to get us to the studio.. eventually found the right exit and were greeted by man with sign looking for us!
Tiny winding streets near the studio.. the owner of the studion arrived not long after us and showed us the ropes for using the appliances and WiFi etc.. the atmosphere in the local area seems a bit like St Kilda!! we may not venture out after dark! but we have to eat and there are lots of small cafes plus other shops for varied interests in the close locality !!
Studio is very comfortable with all mod-cons.. looking forward to a good night's sleep after 24 hours awake!!
